John Sorensen has been with the Poyntlyss Sistars since its inception and the band would not be where it is today without John's selfless and Herculean efforts on its behalf. The band owes much to John (and Jam Productions) as its sound engineer/producer. John is the first one there and the last to leave at every gig. He drives the van, sets up the PA, runs the board, and sets up and controls the lights when it gets dark. Over the years, we have played hundreds of gigs in every imaginable venue thanks to John's ability to handle these logistical challenges.

A long- time Santa Rosan and passionate 49er fan, John currently works for the City of Santa Rosa as a Senior Technician. John's patience and hard work continue to make all things "poyntlyss" actually possible...
